The Part Time Lovers are a versatile Funk, Soul,Blues, and R&B band, now touring nationaly to promote their self-titled first album.
The versatile group is capable of high energy club and festival preformances. They have preformed prestigious private gigs at The Waldorf Astoria Hotel in Manhattan, The Riverside Center in Fredicksburgh, Virginia,as well as The New Daisy Theatre and B.B Kings, both located in Memphis, Tennessee.
The group recently won The Fifteenth Annual, Year 2000, Battle of the Boston Blues Bands. The group then headed to Memphis, Tenn. to compete in The Seventeenth International Blues Challenge in February. The Lovers placed in the final eight bands in the international competition.
The Band's second CD "Down For The Ride" is set for release in mid June. This CD features six brand new original songs and dives deep into the Funk personality of the bands sound.
